Update-June Pictures!!!

Here, at long last, is a long awaited blog update!!!  Here we are in a much cooler Fall season.  It was an extremely busy and very hot summer!  At the end of May, I started having problems with my camera.  I purchased a new one in early June but found I wasn't happy with it.  After researching my options, I found one I liked much better.  It's been a learning process as I go with this new camera, but I'm pretty happy with a majority of the pictures I've taken so far.  So, since there are sooooo many pictures to share with you, I'll get started right away!!!

Tuesday, June 5th, we had Alex, Parker and Quinn here for the day.  The highlight of the day for Quinn and Parker was playing in the sand and water table.

Quinn shows off his "sandy hands".

The older boys had fun playing kickball in the side-backyard.

Wednesday, June 5th was a very fun day with lots of children here to play with each other!  Alex and Maggie were here all day with Baylee, Livy and Jackson also joining us for part of the day.

Later that afternoon, during quiet time, Alex had fun putting a puzzle together.

With school out in the month of June, we welcomed back some of the older children.  Shelby, Caden and Rocco all spent part of their summer vacation back here with us.  It was wonderful to have them  here once again!

Thursday, June 7th, we had Alex, Parker, Rocco and Liam here for the day.  It was Andrew's first day of summer vacation.  He was so happy to be home with everyone!
Parker tried out a new "fireworks" app I downloaded onto the Kindle.

Later that afternoon during quiet time, the older children enjoyed reading books.
Books, books, and more books.
The second (full) week of June, we had Shelby and Alex here with us for just over a week while their parents went away on the trip of a lifetime!  It was so much fun having them here with us as a part of our family.  We all had a great time!

Tuesday, June 12th, we had a full house here with Shelby and Alex, Caden and Parker, Maggie and Quinn!  Books were a popular choice that morning.
Maggie is interested in Parker's book.
Parker, Maggie and Quinn all love reading books.
Reading time!
The weather was much cooler that day so most of the children wore jackets during our time outside.  Caden brought over his "bug house" to release a moth that he had previously captured as a caterpillar over here a few weeks earlier.  It was fun to watch it fly away!
Ready to release the moth!

It finally flew away right after this picture was taken!
Backyard fun!

Wednesday, June 13th, we had Shelby and Alex, Maggie, And Baylee and Livy here for the day.  We enjoyed most of the day outside that day.

Later that evening, we took Shelby and Alex up to French Park to play.  They had a great time climbing the ropes.

Staying cool inside and watching a movie.
That's it for now.  I don't usually end an updated post right in the middle of a day care week, but I'm having a problem with the blog letting me add any more pictures.  It's saying I've used all my storage space for pictures.  I will need to look into this and hopefully be able to get the issue resolved and the rest of the summer pictures posted soon.  Thank you all for being so patient with me.  I know it's been a very long time since I've had an update.  Hopefully the pictures have been (and will be) worth the wait!
