March Madness!

No, this has nothing to do with basketball, I just can't believe it's already the last week of March! Where did it go so fast? We have had a pretty good month (so far) and I'm sure this week will be lots of fun too. It's Spring Break for most of the kids this week so we will get to see some of the older children this week too (yay, Shelby!).

Here are more pictures from all the fun we've had so far, including our St. Patrick's Day party. A special thank you to Drew & Luke's mom for sending the yummy St. Patrick's Day cookies. I didn't get any pictures of the children enjoying them but trust me, they were a big hit!

We've had visits from Madi and Rocco too! Unfortunately, I had dead batteries in the camera when Rocco was here so I have no pictures of him here that day. :-( He has grown since his last visit! I sure miss having him here. Hopefully he will be back again to visit soon.

Livy has been coming over weekly and is still adjusting to her time here. Each week it gets better and she seems to be enjoying herself more and more. Less tears and more smiles!  Yay!

Livy enjoys the flap book.

I love that smile!
We celebrated St. Patrick's Day twice this year since we had different children here on different days.  On Wednesday the 16th, we had Jackson, Alex, Drew and Luke here.  For their craft project, they made St. Patrick's Day rainbow mobiles.  They turned out really cute and all of the boys were proud of them.

The weather was warm so we had fun playing outside that afternoon.  We even pulled out some of the cars and bikes to play with.

On Thursday, the 17th, it was a busy morning with six children here aged four and under.  We had play time downstairs and did another craft project.

The pop beads are a popular choice!

The girls enjoyed playing with the musical instruments.

Isn't she adorable?!

Last Tuesday Parker and Livy enjoyed a morning all alone together.  They are really starting to interact with each other more often now.  It's so cute to see the way they share the toys.

They loved touching hands between the gate fabric.
Last Wednesday we got about four more inches of snow!  Alex and Madi played outside in it and enjoyed it while they still can!
Snow fun!
Thursday we had Madi, Alex and Jackson here.  They had fun dressing up.
Aww, aren't they cute?
Ahoy, matey!
Even though the temperature outside was still a bit cold, the sunshine made it feel so nice!  Shelby got to stop by for a little bit too!

Friday was fun for the little girls.  Baylee, Livy and Parker had a blast playing in the pop-up house.
I LOVE this picture of Baylee!
Peek-a-boo!
Parker and Livy loved the house!
As you can see, it was a busy two weeks but everyone had lots of fun!  It will be busy this week also but I'm looking forward to it.  Check back soon!

Dr. Seuss' Birthday and some pre-St. Patrick's Day fun!

Oh what fun we had at the beginning of this month!  Parker modeled the new hat and mitten set I bought.

We were so happy to have Drew and Luke here to play with us and celebrate Dr. Seuss' Birthday.  We read the book The Cat in the Hat and made our own fun hats to wear!
What handsome boys!
Drew, Luke and Alex show off their cool hats!
Livy has come back for a couple more visits.  Her first visit back she enjoyed playing with Alex.
Alex and Livy listened to the story about Jingle.

Isn't she adorable?
Last week when Livy visited again, she enjoyed playing with Parker.  They loved playing at the train table together.
Livy was very interested in Parker's snack.

Fun at the train table.
Last week we were also happy to have a visit from Owen.  He had a great afternoon here with Alex.  The highlight of the afternoon was when Andrew, Owen and Alex played the Leprechaun Game.  All three of them had a great time!

Andrew helped the younger boys with counting.

Finally, last Thursday, Alex's favorite activity was playing with the magnetic dress-up doll.
Awww...cute!
This week we are all ready for lots more fun!  Drew and Luke will be back as well as Baylee and Livy.  We will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day--I can't wait!  I'm really looking forward to this Friday too when Rocco will be back for a quick visit!  He just recently celebrated his fifth birthday!  They grow up so fast, don't they?
