Ah, February! A fun month with several holidays to keep us busy. We celebrated Groundhog's Day and Valentine's Day both during this first half of the month!
The first day of the month began on a Wednesday. I didn't take any pictures that day. Poor little Maggie was still home sick with croup. It is very rare to have just one child here for the day. So, I decided to treat Alex to a last-minute afternoon outing. I took him up to McDonalds and let him play at the indoor playland. He had a blast! It was nice for us to get out of the house for a bit.
Thursday, February 2nd, Alex was here. Maggie was finally feeling better and so was back for half of the day.

According to the reports on television that morning, the groundhog saw his shadow. So, six more weeks of winter. Although I won't mind too much the way this winter has gone so far!

Friday, February 3rd, was a busy but fun day with Parker, Maggie, Baylee and Livy and Alex all here that day. It was a girls morning filled with dancing, Ring-Around-The-Rosie and just having fun.

Tuesday, February 7th, we had Alex, Parker and Livy here for the day. We enjoyed the morning playing downstairs.

Tuesday, February 14th, Valentine's Day! Alex, Maggie, Parker and Livy were all here to celebrate the day wearing their Valentine's colors! The children had fun dancing and playing in the living room that morning. Livy's mom Jenny was so thoughtful and made matching Valentine bows for the three girls. It was so cute! Wednesday, February 15th, we had Alex and Maggie here. Luke also was here in the morning and Drew came over in the afternoon. The boys had fun playing inside during the morning and early afternoon. When Andrew got home from school, they enjoyed some time outside, playing a little hockey.

Thursday, February 16th Alex and Maggie were here for the day. Parker was supposed to be here but she was home sick (poor girl).
Maggie is getting really good at walking (as long as she's holding onto something). She is starting to stand for longer periods of time (on her own) more often too. I'm sure she will be walking on her own before her first birthday!

Friday, February 17th, was my first vacation day of this year. I got to go to the casino with the "Ya- Ya Girls" for our annual girls get-away weekend. I enjoyed my time reading and relaxing and even got a couple of naps in!
