Dr. Seuss and Legos

Last week our theme was Dr. Seuss. We didn't quite get around to doing everything that we wanted to do so we will continue the theme for this week also. That's one of the perks of my job that I love. The flexibility of being able to change things up if we want/need to!

The boys enjoyed watching a DVD that featured various Dr. Seuss cartoons including The Cat in the Hat, Sneeches, and my personal favorite, Green Eggs and Ham. We talked about if they would like to eat green eggs and ham and both of them said, "NO!"

Another favorite last week was the Lego table. I really enjoy watching the cooperation between the two boys as they worked together on their unique "creations" that according to Rocco are usually some sort of a "big shark".




The weather has been warming up and we have been able to spend a little more time outside. We finally got most of the ice off the driveway (boy was that a big job) so now we might even be able to take a couple of the cars & bikes out to play with!

Kiera has settled into our little daycare family quite nicely. She is such a happy little girl. I just LOVE having her here! She really enjoys her tummy time on the activity blanket. She rolled over for the first time for me today!
