Spring Break Fun! (Part 1)

Here we are already in the middle of April!  We had a wonderful Spring Break with lots of visits from the children.  I took lots of pictures and videos.  It looks funny to see snow piles in the pictures now that it has all (finally) melted away!

Now that the weather has warmed up and the snow is gone, we will be planning on spending a lot more time outside.  Please remember to send proper clothing for the children to wear.  Socks and tennis shoes (preferably ones with Velcro straps) and jackets in case it's a cooler or windy day.

One last reminder before I get to the pictures and videos...
This next Friday is Good Friday and I just want to remind you that day care will be closed that day.  It is a paid holiday for me (if it is a regularly scheduled day for your children to be here).

Alright, here are the many pictures and videos that were taken in just one week (about three weeks ago now)!  There are some real winners here!  Hope you enjoy them!

Back on March 29th, we had Parker, Madi, Jackson, Drew and Luke here.  Andrew was also home enjoying Spring Break.  One of the fun things we enjoyed that day was using the computer to watch some popular children's books available online (Barnes and Noble) that were read either by the author of the book or a current celebrity.

The children seemed to enjoy watching and listening to the stories online.

We also enjoyed some time outside (in the snow).  It looks so funny to see how high the snow piles still were just three weeks ago!

On March 30th, Shelby, Alex & Parker were here.

We listened to music on the radio and the computer.  I finally got a little video clip of Parker and how she dances to the music.  I love how she points her fingers and shakes her arms all around.  It's adorable!

One of our favorite songs has always been Tooty Ta (Dr. Jean and Friends).  Here are a few great pictures of Andrew,  Alex and Shelby dancing to the song and doing the actions.  I love how even Parker is trying to get in on the dancing!

On March 31st, it was a very busy day around here!  We had Shelby, Alex and Madi here all day.  Baylee and Livy came for a few hours that morning.  Then, in the afternoon, Owen came to visit us for a few hours.  We had lots of fun that day.  We played downstairs in the morning.  Andrew & Shelby tossed the ball to Baylee and Livy for awhile.

 Owen came over and spent the afternoon with us. 

He and the other children played a board game during quiet time.

We were treated to a special performance from Owen who sang for us (along with the radio).  I was very impressed that he knew so many of the words.  He did a great job!  Watch for yourself and see what you think.

Pretty cute, huh?  I have watched it several times and it makes me smile each time.  When I watched it again though, I noticed Shelby and Alex dancing in the background.  Shelby and Madi were flipping their hair and it looks so funny.  Watch it again if you get the chance!

The last part of our day we spent outside.  Alex and Owen played on the bikes for a little bit but then Owen had a great time playing hockey with Andrew and Shelby!

 It was a great week of Spring Break.  It was nice to be able to see some of the children that we don't get to see on a regular basis anymore (like Shelby and Madi).  This was the week I had the most pictures and videos.  So, I wanted to try to get at least one weeks worth posted so you could enjoy them.
